This morning I had the pleasure of meeting with Michael Planz, CEO of Community Living and Marybeth Leonard, Assistant Development Director, The Monocacy Foundation at the playground site. We are so proud to be supported by this wonderful organization.
The Monocacy Foundation, formed in 1995, firmly believes that people with developmental disabilities have the right to a life enriched with social and recreational opportunities, preferences for where and with whom the live, and dignity in dying.
The foundation has awarded $310,000 since 1995. The grants have paid for everything from adaptive equipment, music therapy, lessons, therapies and much more!
