Camp Jamie is an ongoing bereavement camp for youth and teens. They are currently accepting applications for 2025 camps

Frederick Health Hospice has many free groups for many types of grief and trauma.

The Compassionate Friends Trinity Methodist Church First Wednesday of each month.

Mountain View Community Grief Share The program is designed so that you can start at any time during the 13-week session. There are three components of the program to include: workbook, video during each session, and discussion. Meetings are held Thursdays at 7pm

ThorpeWood – Grief Support – Umbrella Project

Offers monthly support group and hike. Semi-annual grief retreats. No cost to participants.

90-minute grief support group is facilitated by a professional grief counselor and followed by an optional 60-minute hike of moderate intensity. Registration is required. Available to people over the age of 18 who have experienced a death in their life. Last Saturday of each month, 9AM-12:00 Noon.

Free winter grief retreat for young adults (18-30) who are experiencing grief. Includes activities led by grief counselors, lodging, food, and gear. Feb 14-17. Registration required: umbrellaprojecthike.org/interested
