Sophie & Madigan’s Playground has teamed up with the talented Laurie Berkner to bring a day of music and PLAY to the kids who need it most! Join us at Children’s National Medical Center to celebrate all of the superhero kids who are a part of the Children’s Network!
SaMP Volunteers will have fun free activities for the kids and with your help will be giving superhero capes to the kids who are at Children’s National Medical Center for a life threating illness disability, life struggle, or just another appointment. Laurie will be bringing all your favorites live from the Seacrest Sound Stage in the main lobby.

This is a FREE PLAY event presented by Sophie & Madigan’s Playground! Please consider supporting our goal to provide FREE capes for kids visiting Children’s National Medical Center during the Celebrate PLAY event! Our goal is to give out 250 capes to kids who are at Children’s National Medical Center for a life threatening illness, disability, life struggle or just another appointment.
For every cape you purchase (either for yourself or for one of the kids at Children’s National Medical Center) Sophie and Madigan’s playground will also gift an additional cape to one of the kids at Children’s during the Celebrate PLAY event!
By purchasing a cape or making a donation, you will empower kids to PLAY LEARN CREATE through all of life’s moments!
All capes are magenta on one side and royal blue on the other with our logo in white ~ some capes will have the logo on the pink side and some on the blue side.
